About Von Champs:
Von Champs ( Meaning: “From Fields” : and pronounced : fohn SHAW(N)S) is a concept store inspired by the indoor outdoor living style of Europe and California. Owner Carmen Champion wanted to create the energy of indoor/outdoor living she experienced from her travels, but also incorporate the Central Illinois charm of the seasons. being raised on a farm, work live was heavily dictated by the weather and as one opposed to fighting Mother Nature, Carmen has always chosen to work with her, embracing the sun and the snow.
The store will vary product season to season, but stays grounded in earthy components of wood, clay, and soft textures. In the store you will find gifts and decor for every price point! Stop by and pick up[ a card, candle and scarf, or have a basket made up for a special person.
Von Champs is a play on everything Carmen loves and lives: Downtown, vintage/antique, Bohemian, chic, seasonal, cooking and joy. The contents on the shop are heavily incorporated with goods made by local artisans, in addition to artists she discovered on her travels.
Von Champs is open 10 am – 6 pm. M- F
