Chevalier du Saint Georges Violin Concerto featuring Sphinx Competition winner Clayton Penrose-Whitmore. Milhaud’s “The Creation of the World” connects the rythmic vitality of African Music with the soul of American Jazz.

INCREDIBLY INSPIRING – April 5 at the BCPA – 7:30 pm
Be inspired by an incredible evening of music with Mozart’s highly spirited Piano Concerto #23, featuring renowned pianist Sandra Wright Shen, Bruckner’s life-affirming Second Symphony, and an exciting world-premiere by Illinois composer Carl Schimmel. Let the music move you!

NATURE’S BEAUTY – May 3 at the BCPA – 7:30 pm
Bask in Nature’s Beauty with the return nof renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine performing Bruch’s tuneful “Scottish Fantasy” and Vaughan- Williams beautiful “Lark Ascending”. The full forces of nature are on display in Lili Boulanger’s impressionistic depiction of a spring Morning and concluding with Respighli’s triumphant masterpiece “Pines of Rome.”
