Because the month of June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, the Museum is pleased to host a program by the Alzheimer’s Association of Bloomington-Normal. Join us at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 when Museum Librarian Bill Kemp will take us through an illustrated tour of Downtown Bloomington—emphasizing its political, economic, and social history, and all of the ebbs and flows of the past 188 years. In doing so, Kemp will demonstrate how the vibrancy and growth of the Twin Cities and the wider region are dependent on the revitalization of Bloomington’s historic downtown.
