Brick by Brick Duplo Story Time

Tales for Tails

Tales for Tails pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud. The dogs are with their handlers at all times. Bloomington Public Library volunteers accept donations of gently used books, audio books, DVDs, CDs, and Blu-ray discs on the second Saturday of each month from 10am-1pm in the Library’s Community Room. Those wishing to donate are asked to bring the materials to the Community Room or pull into the Library’s main parking lot, take an immediate left, and drive under the overhang. There, volunteers will help unload the materials from the donor’s vehicle. Items will be sold with proceeds benefitting…

Author Alexandra Lehmann has researched the White Rose group by traveling to Germany and reviewing primary sources, including letters written between Sophie Scholl and her boyfriend, Captain Fritz Hartnagel. Lehmann’s book, With You There is Light, is a compilation and examination of the letters. See the battles these heroes fought from both sides of the war.
