Bloomington Public Library and the Livingston County War Museum are co-sponsoring this Human Library Project in honor of veterans from both 20th and 21st Century conflicts who’ve heroically fought to provide our freedom. Human libraries allow attendees to "check out” a topic by talking with a specialist. Website Builder Bootcamp – Night 3

McLean County and the Orphan Trains • Thur, Feb 27 • 7pm; Community Room Historian Rochelle Gridley’s presentation will explore the relationship between McLean County and the New York Juvenile Asylum, one of the organizations that placed children on trains to find new homes in the West from 1855 to 1920. The voices of the children have been preserved in their letters to the Asylum and speak of their hopes and dreams for their new lives on the prairie.
