Tour de Chocolat- February First Friday

Tour de Chocolat is back in Downtown Bloomington for another year of bringing a ton of chocolate to the community! Businesses will extend their hours and partner up with local pop-ups, bakers, cocoa makers, and more to bring chocolate downtown. Join our downtown businesses as they start February on a sweet note with our February First Friday, Tour de Chocolat! Come out and show your support for downtown and grab a few sweet treats along the way.

 
Here is the preliminary list of participating businesses:

2FruGALS Thrift
Angel Ambrose Fine Art Studio- Pop-up Don McCormick Creations will create sampleable interactive sweet treats & Angel will serve peppermint dark hot cocoa, white hot cocoa, and Wonk-a-land chocolate bark. Kiwanis Club of Bloomington will be selling tickets for their annual fundraiser "Day of Pancakes"
Art Vortex Studio- Original fine art for sale and chocolate refreshments
Bloomington Spice Works
Bobzbay Books- Hosting local poet, Tate Lewis-Carroll from 5:30-7:30 pm
Common Ground Natural Foods - Serving black bean chocolate chili
Crossroads Fair Trade Goods and Gifts- Fair trade chocolate sample
Ferrero - pop-up location in the McLean County Museum of History
Fox and Hounds Salon and Day Spa - While supplies last, take home a complimentary custom, house-made, 4oz, CHOCOLATE sugar scrub when you get a salon and spa tour! ALSO, spin our prize wheel! Every spin wins!
gigi BOTTEGA- Chocolate snacks and sales
Herb Eaton Studio & Gallery- Serving the chocolat drink from the movie "Chocolat" and selling chocolat themed paintings and prints. Kiwanis Club of Bloomington will be selling tickets for their annual fundraiser "Day of Pancakes"

Inside Out Accessible Art- Free hands-on art project along with chocolate samples
Karen Stauffer Photography - Half off session fee if booked within 7 days of the event

Main Gallery 404 - Featuring 34 local artists, many of them will be featuring new work. Live music by Jared from 6-7:30 p.m.

McLean County Arts Center- Chocolate covered strawberries and have materials to make homemade valentines with children and adults.
McLean County Museum of History- Locally made chocolate treats provided by RGW Candy Company 
Merlot and Masterpiece- First Friday special $33 from 6-8 pm along with chocolate samples
Reckless Saint- Individually wrapped chocolate sweets for visitors
Red Raccoon Games- Serving samples of the original Kelly's Bakery & Cafe chocolate soup with pop-up Zeta Coffee

Shake It Up Cocktail Lounge and Eatery- Featuring a berry-milk chocolate parfait, dark chocolate hazelnut espresso martini
Specs Around Town- Pop-up OhmFit is bringing Valentine's inspired apparel and accessories, plus balloon pops for sweet treats and shopper discounts. Shoppers who spend $50 with either Specs or OhmFit will receive a 20% coupon for future shopping at either business!
The Bistro- Jac Janssen will do a cast of your lips with a portion of the proceeds going to LGBTQ+ youth group and scholarship fund. The Bistro will also feature chocolate martinis.
