Join the Illinois State Historic Preservation Office as they host a regional workshop in Downtown Bloomington! This workshop is intended to gather information and participation from the stakeholders and citizens in Illinois as the office moves forward with the Illinois Statewide Historic Preservation Plan. The purpose of the Illinois Statewide Historic Preservation Plan is to examine current strategies preservation activities and to identify strategies to advance preservation efforts at the local, regional, and statewide levels over the next decade.
This workshop is free and open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend to help shape historic preservation in their community. The McLean County Museum of History will also hold a free museum day!
